December 2012

Two people, one bike, the open road

4,289 Km’s round trip

Day 1 – Kuilsriver – Struisbaai – Kuilsriver

The journey starts.

Don’t always follow the Garmen, it might lead to gravel roads.

Heading back up North

Day 2 – Kuilsriver – Springbok

Besides the heat, awesome weather

Day 3 – Springbok – Upington

10:00 in the morning, already 36º

Leaving Upington 07:00 @ 30º

Day 4 – Upington – Stilfontein

Visiting places we never been before, even by car.

North West. Riding skills tested with all the pot holes in the road.

Day 5 Stilfontein – Pretoria
This must be a very expensive import, sure don’t see them in the Western Cape.

Day 6 – Pretoria – Vereeniging

Shortest distance for the entire trip – 126 km

Day 7 – Vereeniging – Hopetown

Day 8 – Hopetown – Laingsburg

Day 9 Laingsburg – Kuilsriver
Who says the wheels must sleep outside?

Home sweet home.
